Voice Changer
Change how you sound on Reverbot calls, video calls and your own recordings, with free effects that run on your phone. Natural AI voices for recordings use your own provider account.
Change your voice at any time
- Tap Voice Changer on the main screen, or Voice Changer on any call screen.
- Switch Voice Changer on and select a free effect.
- Change the effect or switch it off whenever you want; the call stays connected.
- Open Fine-tune your voice for pitch, vocal character, tone and effects. Save a named custom effect if you want to reuse it.
These are stylized on-device effects. Your original speech remains available to recognition; changing pitch does not make the AI hear different words.
Try or record an effect
- End another microphone session before opening a separate preview.
- Tap Start microphone preview.
- Connect headphones before enabling Hear my changed voice. Without headphones, record first and play it back to avoid feedback.
- Tap Record changed voice, speak, then Finish recording. Recordings are limited to five minutes.
- Play, save, share or delete the recording. Stop the preview when finished. The free soundboard plays into the microphone studio, or into a Reverbot or video call made through Reverbot — from this screen or from Voice Changer on the call screen; mute silences it too.
Know which calls can change your voice
Reverbot can change outgoing microphone audio in its own voice calls and video/group calls. Apple’s Phone app, FaceTime and other apps do not provide Reverbot a replacement microphone. Turning this switch on does not change your voice in those apps. Headphones, network conditions and cloud conversion add latency.
Use a natural paid conversion voice
For a recording: record or import audio, then under Natural AI voices choose ElevenLabs, Respeecher or Resemble and add your own API key for it (How to get a key, under the field, shows where). Load your account’s voices and choose one. Tap Convert recording, read the price and upload confirmation, then approve. ElevenLabs sends the converted voice straight back. Respeecher keeps the recording and the result in a Reverbot project in your Respeecher account and can take a few minutes. Resemble needs your own Cloudflare storage, set up under Video calls & recordings (in Chat settings, or from the link on the Voice Changer screen): your recording goes there, Resemble reads it through a private link that lasts 10 minutes, and the file is deleted once Resemble has it. Play, save or delete the result. This is file conversion, not a live microphone service. Each provider charges your own account; credits, plan access and usage rights apply separately, nothing is retried automatically, and Reverbot does not buy an upgrade for you.
Configure a provisioned live AI voice
Advanced → Resemble Live VC requires a vendor-provided live server, API key and model, plus an agreement allowing this use. An ordinary synthesis key is insufficient. Configure the account, choose an active audio route and a session time limit, then review the paid microphone-upload confirmation. You can also start it from Voice Changer on a call screen, and it then goes into that call. An interrupted or expired conversion mutes the processed outgoing voice. Choose Stop AI conversion & use local effect to resume explicitly. The app does not reconnect or spend again automatically.
